For hooded eyes you should use special eye makeup technique that helps your 'create' lids and open the eyes:
- Apply lighter shadow on the lids and on along the brow bone.
- Apply medium eyeshadow on the crease and hooded area.
- Apply dark eyeshadow on the outer corner blending it upwards.
- Line upper lids to open the eye.
- Apply black mascara to upper and lower lashes.
How to apply eyeshadow for hooded eyes
avoid using dark colors over your entire eye as it will make the eyes appear smaller.
- use light shadow on brow bones.
- apply darker shadow on lids to just above the crease.
Usually you should use three colors:
- The lightest color will open and brighten your eyes.
Apply light shade from the inner corner to the middle of lid from lashes to brow line.
To make your eyes appear wider, apply highlight from the inner corner of you lower lid to the middle of the lower lid.
- The medium color will give slight depth to eyes.
Apply medium color to your lid crease. Blend well.
- The most intensive color will give shape to the eyes.
Apply the darkest contrasting color to the outer corner of your eye. If your eyes are close-set, apply the darkest color on the lower lid along the eyelashes.
