Why promote other cosmetic lines?

Someone asked me "If your have or trying to start your own line then why promote other lines?"

I was waiting for someone to ask that! My reply was "You don't go to Burger King asking for a Big Mac!" Meaning ever product has a different use. Being a makeup artist you learn that there is NOT one cosmetic line that has everything you need. Here is another example, you may have a favorite brand of clothing but do you only just buy that brand or do u have all types in you closet because you like the style or fit of different brands.
My line's signature is glitter, I LOVE glitter and shimmer but you may not so my line may not be for you. Now I do have matte products for those who are not into shimmer but over all LaFone Cosmetics is about glits and glamour for a low price.

Wet N Wild Eye Expressions #399

Cream eyeshadows are best for eyehadow bases. Wet N Wild has small palatte that was only $1.00 in the dollar box at Pathmart. They are very creamy n I was surprised that it doesn't crease. The container is so nice and it has a big mirror

My full cosmetic line (LaFone Cosmetics)

Nov 2009 I set my mind in my own cosmetic line. Started with just eyeshadow pigments. By Feb 2012 I will have a full cosmetic line. Eyeshadows (pressed and pigments), blushes, bronzers (Pressed and cream), eyeshadow bases, primer (oil control and for dry skin), lip gloss, lipstick palattes, and brushes. And this time next year foundation, concealer, tented mosturizer will be in the making. No matter what bump in the road I may have hit or what stop sign I ran into I never gave up. Super excited.

Products for Natural Curly Hair

I get a lot of question about what to use in natural curly hair. People want moisture, nice texture, tangle free, a lot of movement to their hair and the brand of choice that always comes to mind is Mixed Chicks. Hair is my 1st LOVE

I blog about makeup a lot but being a hair stylist is what got me to the point that I'm in today. Started doing hair at the age of 10. I got tired of my father putting little braid and bobbles in my hair so I had to learn quick. Flat twist with a weave pontail was my favorite hairstyle. And back then everybody loved it and wanted the same thing. My father put together a mini salon in his basement just for fun. I did all the kids hair on the block. My 1st big client was my older sister who was in her 20s at the time. By the time I was 13 I was putting in a full glue-in weave. Makeup didn't come into play til 11 grade year of high school.

MakeUp at the Doctor's office

I have been sick for the last 4 days so I had to go to the doctors and get checked out. As I'm leaving there was a girl in the lobby with jewelry, makeup, and a few other thing for sale. So knowing me I hade to check out the eye shadows. For a little palette of 12 colors it was $1. She only had two different kind of palettes so I got both.
