Why promote other cosmetic lines?

Someone asked me "If your have or trying to start your own line then why promote other lines?"

I was waiting for someone to ask that! My reply was "You don't go to Burger King asking for a Big Mac!" Meaning ever product has a different use. Being a makeup artist you learn that there is NOT one cosmetic line that has everything you need. Here is another example, you may have a favorite brand of clothing but do you only just buy that brand or do u have all types in you closet because you like the style or fit of different brands.
My line's signature is glitter, I LOVE glitter and shimmer but you may not so my line may not be for you. Now I do have matte products for those who are not into shimmer but over all LaFone Cosmetics is about glits and glamour for a low price.

P.S. I ONLY PROMOTE BRANDS THAT PRICING IS $15 OR LESS. I don't believe in paying more then $15 on ONE item
